CP casing packer cups

cp-casing-packer-cup.jpgThe "CP" type casing packer cup is a one piece unit designed for use between casing strings. The "CP" is used to seal liner or the inner casing string and to protect low pressure productive sands during cementing, acidizing and similar operations. Made from oil resistant compounds developed in rubber laboratories especially for oilfield use, the "CP" cup is reinforced with spring steel wires and a steel bushing, molded in as an integral part of the cup. The "CP" cup may be run facing up or down as required and is easily assembled by slipping it over a joint of inner casing or liner and securing it with set screws or by welding.

All cups may be secured to the inner pipe string (seals on) using either the set screws furnished with the cup or by welding. In either case, the o-ring (furnished) should always be installed to produce more secure sealing between the two pipe strings.
